I am alive in my corner and doing what I am supposed to be doing. I feel bad for not being able to blog as much. Believe me, I want to blog every single sensory/mental experience I am going through these days and just generally.
School has been keeping me quite busy. Plus I have my first big exam on Monday. Have been studying off and on for that. The first exams are always a way to delve into the psyche of the teacher and the program and see what they want from us. I will get a better idea after the first exam. But that being said I do not want to fail the exam in order to get a divine revelation. I still want to do well.
I feel like I have been studying a good amount- studying the books, practicing questions, reading up online and trying to make sure I do not lag behind. But I have mixed feelings about my level of preparedness. Anyway, this past Thursday was our second week of clinicals. We did not do anything much different than last week. Except we did have a 2 hr long training on the computer system used by the hospital. Everyone was just sleepy and ready to go home by the time it ended. I came home and fell into a long, deep sleep. It was wonderful.
Today I have been studying the whole day. Well, almost. Little beauty breaks and cat squeezing breaks here and there.
I am glad the husband is back home now with beer and popcorn. We are both making an Indo-Chinese chicken and fried rice tonight. I made it earlier this week and he loved it. So did I. So, he requested he make it this time. But I have to really be in the kitchen too. Eh! Its okay! I love him, so I can manage.
I got my first paycheck yesterday since becoming casual at work. It blows! I have not had to deal with the consequences of a smaller paycheck yet. I have not had the urge to do any frivolous shopping yet. But hey! I am human. There will be some slip-ups.
Before I sign off , here is a picture of all my current random favorite products.
That Bath and Body Works ‘Sleep’ in lavender chamomile is just so good for like a late night shower or a relaxing bath. I really find it relaxing, something about inhaling the scent in a hot steamy shower.AAh! so good. Also, the best part is it was free. 🙂
And I got that little jar of Burt’s Bees lotion in my January Birchbox. Just the right consistency for a cold weather face cream.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. I know I will spend mine working tomorrow and studying the rest of it. So, yay!!!
